Hi all,

please excuse me if my post is not clear but I am new to all this!

I have created a DVD using Creater 9, I think it used MyDVD. The resulting disc will play on a PC but not on my DVD player. I tried the same thing using Nero and that works!

Any Ideas?

Thanks Alison

Please post back with your computer specs and how you burned to disc.  Did you burn direct to disc?  I've found, for the most part, I've had better luck saving as an image file then using the resulting ISO and burning to disc with Disc Copier or Creator Classic.  In fact, recently, I've noticed even less problems using Creator Classic to burn my ISO's to dvd.
Some things can make a difference with EMC such as firmware for your burner and the type of media.

If I can chip in here..
I have the same problem using EMC 9 when trying to burn discs from .iso images.
Works fine, however when using my old 'MyDVD Plus' which came packaged with the computer.
However, new .iso images created with EMC 9 also causing problems.
I can copy discs with EMC 9 but it is the disc images which cause the problems.
Is this another bug which Roxio needs to fix?

No Dave there is no bug to be fixed because the vast majority don't have this problem…

Did you get your encoder activated? You posted about that a few days ago.

It would be better if you would start your own thread regarding this problem, listing your PC specs and details of what you are doing.
