I have been using Easy CD Creator 5 and I am attempting to install Roxio EMC 8 on my 2002 Gateway XP Media Center PC. The installation hangs before it is complete, some where near the end of "loading new files". Canceling the installation does not close the window and it is necessary to use windows task mgr. to end the instillation session. The Roxio icon is installed on the desktop and Drag to CD is installed and actually works? Double clicking on the icon gets you the message that it can't find the executable. Attempting the reinstall leads to runtime errors and it is nesessary to do a system restore back to a point before the installation to get the CD and DVD drives to work again. Any help with this problem will be appreciated.

I beleive you have to uninsall version 5 first, before installing version 8
