I have EMC7 and have created many collection folders with photos. If get EMC9, delete EMC7, install EMC9, will my Photo Collections be as they are now? Thanks

What program in EMC 7 did you use to make these folders?

Media Manager creates folders on the hard drive just like Windows Explorer. Nothing will happen to your collection if you uninstall V7. If you what them to show up in Media Manager 9, you will have to be patient when it start indexing the all the photos. It can take some time and make the computer seem slow.
Phenom X4 965 3.4Ghz, 4gig DDR3, LG 47" 3D TV, Hitachi 1TB HD, Seagate 500GB, LiteOn iHBS112 Bluray, TSSTCorp SH-222A DVD, ATI HD3300 IGP, VIA HiDef audio with Logitech Z5500 THX certified 5.1 speakers, Epson 4490 scanner, Canon 9000Pro MarkII printer, Sharp AL1551CS laser printer/copier, Sony TRV740 8mm digital, Canon HV20 HDV camcorder and Fuji S7000 for still photos, Win7 Home Premium

Thanks for your response. Would you recommend 9 over 7?

Depends on how much editing you do. Videowave 9 has a lot more features like multiple tracks, mor transitions, effects. MyDVD 9 also has more features than DVD Builder and better designed menus, etc. Be aware that V9 is much more demanding on the hardware than V7. You need a good video card with updated drivers and the latest DirectX.

Thank you. What would be the "real" minimum requirements, not what Roxio publishes?

I found the answer to my problem as one of the Members suggested. It works fine with DVD-R but not with DVD+R. Thanks.
