Hi, I'm new to Roxio 8. I have no trouble creating nice slideshows, but when I try to burn the slideshow using MyDVD, Roxio freezes up entirely, and I have to restart my computer to get it to work again. I have a Dell, with a Pentium 4, 1GB RAM, and Windows XP Home Edition. Normally, my computer works fine using other major software packages (MS Office, STATA, Endnote, etc.) but it just seems to jam up with Roxio. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the software twice. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Monti

Make sure that you shut off any unecessary processes running in the background, before burning.

Also, try burning to an image (.ISO) file instead of burning directly to a disc. You then burn that .ISO file to a DVD, using Disc Copier.
