When I start Roxio it take 5 minutes to popup and any of the programs that I then select also takes 5 minutes to popup :) . I have a Dell PC Dimension 4500S, 2.27GHz, 2GB Ram, 20 GB remaining space on the hard drive.

Please help!

Thanks,
Ramjet

Disable RoxWatch via msconfig, and see if that makes a difference.

I didn't make a difference. It still takes about 2-3 minutes for the Roxio red banner to showup in the middle of the screen and another 2-3 mintues for Roxio to completely showup. I tried un-install-re-boot-install-same results. I wonder if a dll got corrupted? It was a lot faster before. I think the only other thing that I've done to my PC since it was faster, was to run Spybot free download and then remove Spybot. Thanks, Ramjet

Dont worry, you are not the only one. I thought it was my PC at one stage. Takes ages to load and ages to swap from one menu to another. The older versions were much better in this way.

How ever, I dont know if you have noticed this but the sound quality is pretty naff. Anything played or burnt through this version of Roxio has a bad sound, almost as if the speakers are blown. I have tried this with different systems and speakers and they all sound the same....naff....... but if i play the videos via RealOne or WMA it plays perfectly.

I haven't had that problem with the sound, so not everyone has it.  The OP didn't mention it, but I have seen a few posts on the forums saying some folks have had that problem.
