After scanning these forums after getting an error about activation issues, I just have a strong suspicion IE7 is at the bottom of this somehow. Anyone agree or am I just a microsoft conspiracy theorist?

I've been using EMC9 for about 3-4 weeks now and it's been working flawlessly and I've been using IE7 beta. When IE7 became full version, I started getting this activation problem. It may be a coincidence but I've tired deleting cookies, re-installing, and disabling my firewall without success. Still getting the same activation problems. I just don't get it? Everything was already activated, why in the world would it suddenly as for me to activate again?

I have been reading all these quotes now for the last couple days hoping someone would find a fix.
I use IE6, I deleted all the cookies, I deleted all refrence to roxio from the registery (after I uninstalled the programs), I removed all Roxio realted folders from my C: drive, did a "clean" install, and registered the product again, and I still get an mpeg-2 product activation failure.
What really gets me down is that I allready removed the software I had been using. I got stuck with "Easy CD Creator", you would think I would have learned. Just couldn't believe a company could stay in busness this way.

Well, high fives to you! I think the Roxio server hiccups and just won't authorize. I had to manually activate mine.
Life is good!
