Cannot get Roxio to see my scanner.
I go to Roxio Media Import, select photo, get a drop down list with my scanner (CanoScan 8600F).
Program does not allow me to select scanner. I have a small program (Ifanview) that works ok with scanner.
I tried Roxio repair. My next step was to totally remove Roxio and re-install.
Would appreciate any help.

Scan the photo to your hard drive with the scanner software.  Then use the scanned photo in the software suite any way you want to.

A lot less problems doing it that way.

Thanks for the response. Tried that and it works great. Just kind of bugs me to have something I can't correct. I scanned several hundred photo's with media import but for some reason I lost that option. Trying to find out what ties Roxio to the scanner. I thought it might be in one of the .ini files.
Thanks very much.

Problem solved.
Media Import was looking at a WIA driver. Uninstalled WIA and installed Twain. That solved the problem.
Thought I would post this in case someone else had the same problem.
