Hi,
'MyDVD Plus' came bundled with my new computer. With the help of Videowave 4, I made some great home movies, transferred them successfully to DVD but was somewhat disappointed with the limitations of My DVD Plus. So, having recently upgraded to EMC 9 I thought I would re-edit these DVDs to take advantage of the improved titling techniques.
Question: How can I do this?.
On My DVD Plus I can simply insert the old DVD and select Edit Disc under The Video subsection.
On EMC9 this option does not seem to exist. Is there a work around ?
Thanks for your help (I hope!)

If the disc is DVD VR format, launch MyDVD and then File / Edit DVD. If it is a regular video DVD, you need to use Media Import to tranfer the file to hard drive first.

What I'm trying to do now is add a further clip to the movie already on disc. Using Media Import I get a 'Movie Clip' MPEG file. The bit that I am trying to tack on is an AVI file. Videowave 9 doesn't like the mix and fails to produce a new file that I can burn to DVD. Am I stymied? Do I have to edit the whole lot again from scratch? Also if I just changed the titling, say, and then reburnt the DVD surely reconverting the MPEG file would lose quality? I haven't tried that yet I must admit.
Thanks for your help,
Dave
