I am in need of burning Blu-Ray disks with my PowerMac Dual-Core G5. The Roxio web site says that Blu-Ray capability is available in Toast 7, but is not available as a download from the web site. It can only be obtained from a supported OEM device.
I called Roxio moments ago and the sales person tells me that my current copy of Toast 7 will support any external Blu-Ray device. I don't believe it.
So far, in my research, there are no OEM devices available in the US that support OS X Blu-Ray burning, though there are several that support Windows. Is this correct? There is one that was recently released in Japan, but nothing here.
Any comments on this subject would be appreciated.

You would need to get Toast with an OEM drive. Logitec is the only company currently shipping a Mac BD drive and it is Japan only.
