hmm... let me get this idea clearly... It is a limitation in MyDVD 6.2 that it is designed not having the ability to change the order of the movies being played... it is actually working like it is supposed to... when you purchases the software, do you specifically ask for this function and see if it is in the software? It's like you have a standard definition TV and you complain that it does not support HDTV content and claim that it's a piece of garbage...
OK, well let me rephrase it.
Every other program I've ever used for burning CDs and DVDs allows you to add a file and put it anywhere you want, move it around in the order, etc. I see no reason why such a limitation would be put on software, regardless of the price.
In other words, let's say you have a project already started. then you find a video you want to add, but you want to put it somewhere in the middle of the project. the only thing you can do is delete the entire project and start all over again? That just doesn't make any sense. Plus, you have the ability to arrange the order that they appear on the menu. Why would anyone want to move them around on the menu and not change the order they play also? Wouldn't that be extremely confusing to the person watching the DVD????
If you don't want to give us the ability to change the order of the videos, you should also remove the ability to change the order of the icons. If they are not in sync, you end up with spaghetti.
there are other bugs too, I didn't mention. for example it says in the instructions that if you use the "select first video" option in the Edit Project view, it will play whichever video is in the first position on the menu. that's false. It plays the first video you input into the project and there's no way to change it.
Also, if I choose some settings and then click the "apply to this menu only" it applies it to ALL the menus anyway.
Also, when I make an ISO file of a project, it strips some of the settings from the Edit Project view.
Now can I call it garbage?
