Sorry if this has been posted before.  I did a search for avi and found some help, but not much.  Anyways, here is what I am trying to do for a charity event this Saturday.

I have a DVD of some video (vob's) I want to include in a powerpoint presentation.  I plan on inserting the video into PP as avi's.  How do I get it there?  The DVD is not protected.  I want to take only certain parts of the DVD and save them as avi's (or another format if it works with PP).  Each part shoul dbe it's own avi.  So far, I can't even figure out how to save as an AVI.

Thanks a bunch!

Best bet would be to import them into VideoWave and edit there. Once happy, save your VW Project then, File – Output As, choose mpg.

If the output isn't up to snuff, reload the Project and output as AVI.
