Using MyDVD, I have created a DVD two different ways:  1) Burned directly to DVD 2) Encoded to temp folder on C drive and then tried to copy folders to DVD.

Both times the DVD plays fine on my computer, but will not work on any home DVD players.

Am I missing a step or an option?

Thanks,

MEG

You 'tried' to copy the folder to dvd?  Did it not work?  How did you try this?
I suggest saving as an ISO (image file) and using Disc Copier or Creator Classic to burn to dvd.  I've found, for reasons I don't understand, burning ISO files to dvd with Creator Classic an option that works much better for me than Disc Copier.
However, it could be your player does not play the +R or -R or does not like your kind of media.  What message, if any, are you getting when trying to play on the players in question?
