Never rains but it pours  :)

Upgraded my RAM from 1 to 2GB with matched pairs and all that good stuff, and now when doing certain tasks in roxio I am getting warning messages that there isnt enough memory to perform that function. I click continue or ignore and it works ok. The most recent was today working in video wave and trying to edit an effect

Why would I be getting this message and never got it when I had 1GB.?

Only program I have and or use that behaves this way

Thanks
Bill

This is more a MS Windows thing - go to system properties and double the size of the page file (if you can, set min and max to 4192 (double the RAM size))

It doesn't do it automatically so you have to manually set it.

And don't ask me WHY a page file has to increase when you increase the actual RAM - that has always been a mystery to me :)

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
