Could I make a multisession DVD-RW with Toast 6.1.1 on OS X 10.3.9 ?

You can burn multisession CDs only, not DVDs in Toast. Apple does not support multisession DVDs.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

4Gb USB Flash have more sense ?... Not to me. Just compare the price ! 4Gb USB Flash start at us$68 on the web. At this price I can buy and burn more then 55 branded DVD RW !
BTW, Alexatrox says <Apple doesn't support multisession DVDs.> It's mean other OS (Windows, Linux...) can ?

Sure you can swap single-session DVD-RW's. Here's another idea: Use Toast to create a 4.3 GB temporary partition on an external hard drive (you could do this on the internal HDD but I'm presuming you're trying to eliminate the risk of loss of data due to a HDD crash). Now do your incremental "burns" to the disc image. When it gets full burn it to DVD and start over.

Mmmm. Ok. Let me explain. I cloned my Mac on an Ext FW HD and make (almost) regular back up. So the idee was to keep an extra independant Backup of Packages, updates and others small soft I have. That way I would be able to load to my others mac if needed or in case of big crash make an easy new <clean installation> without spending so much time online.
My <clone> is not update and I don't think I want it since I have lot of <sh..> on my Mac now. Then, backup is fine for working files but many Apps. wont work with Restore from Bckup.
I still thinking then than DVD RW is the best cheapest way to keep data (at this moment)
Thanks for your advice.
