I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 (I know it's old) on a PC. I make music CDs with this application and I have the ability to fade in/out tracks as well as create crossfades (totally gapless playback). I can't seem to find this function in Toast 7 Platinum on my iBook G4. Does this feature exist? It seems Toast leans a lot toward the video editing side and not so much the audio side. I know this is a Roxio forum, but is there a decent (and fairly inexpensive) alternative application that can accomplish what I'm trying to do, if Toast does not? This is one of two things that is keeping me from making a full switch to Mac right now.

Roxio Jam can do this on the Mac.

Here are my questions on Jam then:
1. Is Jam a standalone product? I seem to only find it bundled as Toast With Jam 6.
2. If it isn't a standalone, but is sold as an add-on for Toast, will Jam 6 work with Toast 7?
