Media Manager has a major shortcoming that makes me use other viewers. When you double click on a photo the window that comes up does not have the usual controls for maximizing the window, nor does it fit in a specific space. This makes it unusable in my opinion for viewing photos. Cant believe Roxio would design an window like this. Is this the same in version 9? If so, i will not spend my money upgrading, since free Picas is a better viewer due to this one issue.

I didn't use version 8 much, but in EMC 9 Media Manager, if I double click on a picture, it just about fills the entire monitor.

Did you try just resizing the preview window? You know cursor on the edge of the window until you get the double headed arrow, Click and hold while you drag the edges. :) It works with V9 so I'm sure it would work with V 8.  Once you resize the window, use the green arrows at the bottom to navigate to the other pictures in the album/hard drive.

Can do that, but pain in the rear not to be able to simply maximize the window. Also, it reverts back to original setting when you close.
