multiple CD icons on desktop after burning sessions

I just started using Toast on my Mac (I still just have Toast Lite 5.2.2 for the moment) and have one problem. After I burn multiple sessions to a CD-R disk (data format), I get a new CD icon after each burn session. Why? The burning itself works ok, and Toast info indicates how much space is left each time, number of sessions done, etc. But now when I insert the CD again, I get three icons showing up on the desktop. I can't delete the newer ones, either, it just ejects the CD. Each icon folder contains the data that I burned in that particular session. It's as if there are CDs inserted (?!), with separate data on each, although it is of course really only one CD. I'm using OS X 10.3.9 on a G4.

How can I get the burning sessions to show up in just the one icon folder / desktop icon? Can someone help with this? Probably a simple answer, but the Toast help wasn't helping me with this.

That's the way it works with Apple's HFS and HFS+ file systems. The only way to avoid multiple icons with sessions is to burn as ISO 9660 format but Toast Lite doesn't do that.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Ok, thanks, just wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong. I find the multiple icons annoying, but I want to upgrade to the new Toast asap anyway.
