I purchased EMC8 after having to format my XP drive due to malware and the backup DVD's could not be retrieved in RoxioCD5, due to split files. Issues: How do you enable auto-run? The program does not start when I double click on the Icon or from windows explorer. The pdf manuel under roxio retrieve says from Roxio Central, click on Extras and Utilities and select Roxio Retrieve.
Where is Roxio Central located, if you can get the #$^@ thing to open. I cannot locate Extras & Utilities anywhere and Believe I am missing files. I downloaded RXFIX and rebooted hoping that would help.
Any help would be appreciated as all my backed up files before formatting are on on these DVD's [font=Arial][size=7]

Open the home app.At the top left under home click applications.To the right click on Retrieve.
This shot is from V9 but I'm pretty sure V8 is the same.
