I'm trying to make an MP3 disk from MP3 music I've got stored on my hard drive but everything that gets burned onto the disk comes out in .WAV format. I want to make a nice long-playing disc but I can't seem to get it to work. My last version of Roxio did this just fine. But V8 doesn't seem to be working for me.

I'm trying to make an MP3 disk from MP3 music I've got stored on my hard drive but everything that gets burned onto the disk comes out in .WAV format. I want to make a nice long-playing disc but I can't seem to get it to work. My last version of Roxio did this just fine. But V8 doesn't seem to be working for me.

Sounds like you're making an Audio cd instead of an MP3 cd.Make sure you are selecting mp3/wma disc under the project type.
