I have Creator 8 Suite Home and when I attempt to burn a music DVD with DVD Music Assistant it has a critical error during the first 10% of the burning process. I followed the basic instructions for correcting burning errors that is posted on the main page for tech support but it still won't work.

I'm at a loss and very disappointed as I purchased this application for the DVD burning capabilities.

Use Music Disc Creator instead. Forget about the assistant.

Thank you for the response grandpabruce.

I attempted to use the Music Disc Creator and I received the same error during the programs attempt to burn the music. I even tried converting my mp3's to other formats thinking maybe the error was with the conversion attempts by the program but this didn't work.

I've found that the burning process is 99.9% of the battle with DVD Music Discs.I had some problems when I first started doing them. The first thing is to make sure that the files you are trying to use are ok.I had a couple that MDC just didn't like.If the burn keeps stopping at the same point every time that's a pretty good indication that it could be a file problem.Another thing to try is slowing down the burn process,it seems to work better if you're not burning at max speed. Also try trimming down the project a bit and seeing if a smaller attempt will work at all.

First thank you all so much for the attention and kind help.

I should have no issues with rights. I did turn down the burn speed but encountered the same error. The program gets to maybe the 6th song in the burning process and that is when the error pops-up. I cut the song list to only 20 three min songs but I still get an error.
