I can't install Dell Media Experience Deluxe as purchased through Roxio EMC9 Media Experience. After downloading the program it will not install. All I get is an error message and the installation quits. The error message is, "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid."

My system is:
Dell Dimension 8300
XP Home SP2
Pentium 4 3.00 GHz
1.00 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS Video card
Sony DVD RW DRU-820A
2 120 GB Hard drives

Thanks,

Bill A.

According to Sonic Online, it requires a complete uninstall of EMC 9. I presume it would then require a complete uninstal of DMX to reinstall EMC 9. Obviously, the installation programs are not compatible.
