playback speed

when I playback audio capture files, they are too slow like playing a record at the wrong speed

What do you have as a sound card and where is the acceleration set? (Windows>Start>run. type in dxdiag> then OK.  look at the sound tab.    Post the version of DirectX from the first page and the information about your sound card/chip from the sound tab.  There may be updated drivers for your sound device.

How did you capture the audio files?  Are they part of a video file or stand alone?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
