Charley, do you have the exact same video card and DirectX 9c as the original poster? If yours is different, or if you don't have a card; just video chips on your mother board, the program may not work for your set up. You may even have a completely different computer.
In the future, even though you see the same symptom it doesn't mean you have the same solution so you need to start your own thread. By hijacking a thread, you create confusion because no one knows who is replying to whom.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
