Can anyone tell me how to change the thumbnail view of a video file after I add it to My DVD project?

I open Create DVD’s & then I choose Add New Movie.

However, the thumbnail view of the movie I’ve added is not what I want to see. I want to use a picture and/or scene from within the movie as my preview thumbnail.

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Can you tell us what menu style you are using? That will determine what thumbnail you are talking about and if you can change it.

BlueSilver

No such menu type in MyDVD from NXT 2 -- at least in my version.

Go here to see if the select thumbnail is active:

NXT 2 does have the Blue Silver menu style - in fact I think it is the default style. Unfortunately this style does not allow change of thumbnails.

David,

do you want a menu where the Titles have a image/text button or only a text button? Only the menu styles that have image buttons allow a thumbnail change for the image in the menu button.

The image in the BlueSilver display window is not part of the menu and is not selectable and cannot be changed

I didn't see that listed  as an option.  Yes, I have NXT 2 loaded  You gave a good answer.

Now for me, how do you select effects and dock them .  I did a recent install and a repair!
