An unknown error has occurred. The application will shut down now. Exception:
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID (OCE308D1-D2E0-4656-BEA1-79FE86A7A258) failed due to the following error: 800700c1 is not a valid Win32 application. (Exception from HRESULT: Ox800700C1).

Looks like you will need an 'unknown solution'
First thing we think of any crash is that the Install did not go well or a Corruption has slipped in.
Either one warrants a proper repair:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Now insert your Roxio Disc or run the download.

When you reach the screen where Repair is offered, choose that!

When the Repair completes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

With a little luck, this will do the trick ;)
