I've just installed EMC 9 (previous user of EMC 7 and 8) and am having problems burning my MyDVD projects. Here is how I create my project (I select the Brook menu style):
1. File -> New Project -> DVD
2. Add New Movie (select 1 AVI file)
3. Add New Movie (select 2 AVI files and answer Insert All Video Clips as One Movie)
4. File -> Project Settings -> Play movie and all remaining movies in project (this was previously continuous play, right?)
So now I have 2 chapters (titles?) on my main menu. I click on preview and I see my main menu with my 2 buttons. If I click on one of the buttons, I go to the movie I expect to see. Now I want to burn this to an ISO file (or a DVD - I get the same results) - this is where my problems start.
1. I click on Burn and choose burn to image file.
2. I identify my ISO file name and click Burn
Now I see the burning process start. I see encoding my first movie, then my second movie, then I see the encoding of the menu. I then play the ISO file (or burn that ISO image to a DVD) and it starts right off by playing my first movie. I don't first get a menu, nor do I have the option to view the title menu. I fast forward through this first movie and when it ends, the play back ends - it doesn't play the second movie. When I try clicking on the next chapter button, it just starts the first movie over again.
Am I doing something wrong, or do I have an installation problem. Do I need to revert to EMC 8?
I am also experiencing a lot of crashes in MyDVD when trying to start it up after having shut it down previously and sometimes whenever I try to do a burn. I have to reboot to clear up this problem.
Thanks for your input.

If you want to include the menu, choose "CD/DVD Copy" tab (instead of Video Compilation) in the Disc Copier when burning the ISO file to disc.

I have been using the Copy CD/DVD tab on the Disc Copier. So that doesn't appear to be it. One other thing. When I right-mouse click on the ISO file created by MyDVD and select Load to my virtual G Drive (is this a EMC feature?) and try playing the ISO from there, I experience the same problem as when I burn it to a real DVD and try playing it.
Any other thoughts? Thanks.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me here. I did a full uninstall and downgraded to EMC 8 Deluxe and everything seems to be working now. Thanks again.
