I have a brand new Dell Dimension 9150. Every time I run MyDVD the program loads and then freezes with an hour glass. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and everything else several times. I even went as far as to uninstall and remove all MyDVD registry entries. the program does the same thing when it loads up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Specs:
MyDVD 8 premier
P4 Dual Core 3.4 GHz
256MB PCI Express Video
1GB DDR2 Memory
XP Full updated and a fresh install
820 GB Hard Drive

Is it just MyDVD that is a problem? What version do you have? Very well could be a conflict with what was already pre-installed on your system. Was Sonic preloaded on it? Might be conflict with DLA or another packet writing program.

Version is MyDVD Premier 8.0 and it is the only program having issues. I also have Adobe Premier 6.5 and Sonic DVDit 6 which both work perfect.
MyDVD was not preinstalled on my system. I'm a tech guy, so the first thing I do when I get a new computer is reinstall the OS to dump all the preinstalled crap on the system.
