MYDVD for canon will not open when I double click. I have uninstalled the previous MYDVD LE as instructed..restarted my computer. I have also reinstalled MYDVD for canon several times and the program shows that it's been installed. It just will not open. I did the clean install as Roxann suggested. Followed all steps...restarted and it still will not open. I did a ctrl atl del and looked at the processes. When I clicked MYDVD icon...in the processes it looks like it's opening (I see mydvd.exe) but then it disappears from the processes box. I really need to use this software for my Canon DC22 immediately and its been frustrating. Been working on this since 10am EST.

hi you say you did a complete delete. here are some things to check. 1. add and remove programs from your control panel. 2 and this is most important. go to my computer then to c. drive then to program files. look there for a file that says sonic if it is there and most times it is delete it. then shut down you computer the restart that resets the system. then try a clean instal.
