After working on a production, I am trying to render the compilation. I get the render screen and then it just sits there. I have to use task manager to exit, which also closes videowave. I've seen a few other posts similar to this. I have updated my graphics drivers. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
Hangup during rendering.

One of those videos may not be compatible. You didn't give us much to work on. Put the video file in VideoWave and "output " it to a mpg2 for DVD... best quality. I would guess that it will choke on one of them so you know which one is the culprit. If they all encode to mpg2 files OK, try using MyDVD to put them on a disc.(or use them for the compilation).
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Thanks for some suggestions. When I create a project with stills and mpg's, it renders fine. What is hanging up is when I try to work with a tivo video that I have clipped out the commercials and added an introductory still slide. I tried outputing that production to mpeg2 and to ipod (my ultimate goal for these small projects for the kids!).
