Is There A Total Time Limit For A Single Track ?

Question

Hi,

I'm a newbie to Roxio's Sound Editor. I recorded a cassette tape into

Sound Editor and it was 7 individual stereo tracks, one right after the other. I

burned that file to a CD-R without a problem. The next track I recorded

was 13 songs, again, one right after the other. All the time the counter

was showing that it was recording. When I stopped the recording, only

8 songs showed a record time. Tracks 9 through 13 were listed, but with

0:00 time. Is there a certain time limit on Sound Editor ? Do I need to

upgrade in order to be able to record as many songs as I want ?

Thanx for your time .

Don

Sound Editor is just one of the programs of Roxio Creator. What is the full name of the Roxio program you are using. Your post can then be moved to correct Roxio forum.

Did you give it time to record all 13 tracks because you said you stopped the recording?

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. What I should have said was I "paused"

the recording as a was switching source tapes. It put markers on

the screen for tracks 1 through 13, but there were only total track

times for tracks 1 through 8. 9 through 13 said "0:00".

Thanx

70 or 80 minute CDR's?
