I was wondering if I can be directed towards a thread where the No Signal problem is actually solved?  I have gone through all the ones on google and I cannot find an instance where a solution has been found.

I am not a tech novice, my drivers are set up correctly, I have no need of a SCART device, and I am able to capture DVD on s-video with no audio.  However, the device itself in unrecognizable using component in either EVtoD3+, or open-source software for the same purpose.  I cannot test component as this is 2017 and I have no devices in my home or in my families home to test with aside from this one.  I have tested on about 5 tapes.

Please advise.

or open-source software for the same purpose.

Does it have USB Drivers?

Show us a screen shot of device manager with other devices and sound video and game controllers expanded?

I'm just a fellow user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may have provided.

S-Video has never had Audio - you must connect that separately...

The Roxio Capture USB Device ONLY works with Composite & S-Video. If you are trying to feed it Component as you stated, it will never work.

WHAT other software are you trying to use?
