I have installed Toast Titanium 15 on my 15”Macbook Pro 2009 era. It can’t run MacOS Sierra but is running El Capitan 10.11.6.

It crashes every time when I click on any of the starting topics.  All the other programs in the bundle seem to run okay.  I have tried to find the system requirements for it but we are not allowed to see them?

I am not very happy with Roxio (Correl) for not being more straightforward in giving the system requirements.

Does anyone know if it can even run on my older laptop.  I am running Toast 10 with no problems.

If I can run it does anyone know how to get it running.  I have tried completely uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it runs once but when quit and restarted later it crashes as above.

Thanks for any help.

When uninstalling/re-installing, did you also remove the com.roxio.Toast.savedState folder?

Hello!

This is VERY FRUSTRATING!

I'm having the SAME ISSUE, with my new MacBookPRO (Mac OS Sierra). As soon as I start anything, I get a spinning multicolor icon and the only way is to make a forced kill of the App.

This happened with the Version 15 and now with the 15.1. All the other Apps in the suite seem to work (at least they don't crash when I open them)

VERY DISAPPOINTED :( (89 Euro for nothing)

I did, but no improvements :(

Same problem as above.  Installed v15.1 on iMac after v15 started crashing following installation of a Sierra v update. No improvement. 15.1 also generates the spinning wheel of death.  Does anyone have a fix outside of waiting for another 15.x update?

Same Problem, I reinstalled Toast already 2 times, taking all the relating folders away and it still doesnt start with Sierra 10.12.4 on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015).

Is there a solution from Roxio?

Same Issue with clean install of Sierra on mac mini 2011.

Toast 15.1 hangs on start up. After about 10 tries I got it to work once, then it went back to hanging at start up. <_<

I have the same problem with Toast 15.1 on my iMac running Sierra. The other components seem to work but the stat-up program hangs.

Have tried re-installing Toast multiple times. - no joy !

I have CD Creator NXT on my PC and there are no issues whatsoever.

Roxio has to come up with another patch/ update for Toast !!

Further back and forth with TON from Corel tech support led to my creating a new admin account on my Mac and installing Toast 15 there, where it ran well.  Unfortunately, I can not be creating a new admin account to run each new program I purchase separately. I reminded him that my own user account where I initially installed Toast 15 is also an Admin account, but have not heard back. I have again asked for a solution to the initial issue.

I contacted support and they also suggested go this route, so I logged in as a guest and toast 15.1 4486 ran well without its usual 5 minute hang time before working perfectly.

Yay! however I don't want to run toast under another user account, so I emailed support back that my original issue is still not resolved...but no work back yet.

It seems clear that I installed toast 15 before installing 15.1 4486 on Sierra 10.12.5 and there is part of of the original toast 15 that is creating this issue. I have uninstalled 15 deleting all the prefs I could find, but I must be missing a key file that is creating this hang.

So:

need tech support to respond

need an toast 15 uninstaller or the exact location of the problem file to delete and install a fresh 15.1 (4486)

I will update if I hear back from tech support.

Seems like this must be a known issue?
