Im back copying family VHS to DVD and my equipment and Creator 9 works great for my needs. I do have a question though about maybe im missing a setting.

Plenty of our home VHS have space between filming and during capture the program will stop if there is a large gap. This causes me to have to sit and watch the complete capture to start the capture again.

Is there a setting that will allow a timed capture without stopping. I set the timer on the capture screen but it still stops when the VHS is empty (blue screen) for a period.

Thanks

That is the way it works !  :(

What you can do is connect that VHS player to a camcorder or to another player (DVD?) that allows for a pass through signal.  That other device will maintain a signal so that the capture device will not know that the video has stopped (and then restarted).

Which program are you actually using?

"Creator 9" (Easy Media Creator 9) or Creator 2009 (this forum)??  There is much difference.
