Hello again, I came back.

 

Dave,

We've been working on this one on another thread in this forum, here, and have found out some more.

 

Very briefly, the workaround is still the same - to load/save the photos with another viewer first and after that the Roxio software should accept them.

 

The cause is not the position of the Exif data as I thought, it's an Intel standard Exif marker that the Samsung uses on its individual photos (but not its "burst mode" photos). Re-saving the photo rewrites it with a Motorola standard marker, and all is well.
