My problem is almost the same as;

CAN YOU PUT LP'S ON CD-RW OR MUST THEY BE PUT ON CD-R ONLY

You can burn anything you want to an RW but if you want to keep it a long time, that's not what you want to do. CDR's are too cheap anyway.

It is pretty well known that burning information to CD/RW media is not what you want to do unless it is for temporary use or testing etc. RW media has a way of loosing it's information over a short time. So any files or information you want to use as archive or backup, it's best to burn to media other than RW.
