Audio capture with Sound Editor

Question

I have used Sound Editor (going back to earlier versions as well) for years to capture both CD & cassette audio. All of a sudden, I was unable to capture cassette from line in.  Cassette plays fine through speakers, but is not recognized by S.O. I can still capture CD's.  It recognizes neither "line in" or "speakers" for the cassette deck. Roxio recommended a "clean" install, which I performed, but that did not help.  Any ideas?

Not at my pc but memory says that you want to make sure Roxio shows up as a recording device.

What version of Windows are you using?

You only get 10 installs so use the Repair option since it doesn’t count as an install.

Do you show a green check mark for line in when your connected or is it disabled?

Another very similar check for capturing audio from your computer or other devices.5af71932773cf_TaskbarSpeakerIcon.JPG.b01bc1b0f0c7ed49d1b95a532faf090f.JPG
