I tried to use the Copy function to burn an existing ISO file onto a DL DVD+R. After clicking on the red button, the program asks for a CD (!!!) to be inserted into the drive repeatedly and ad infinitum. I tried to use several different blank DL DVD+R's to no avail. The software still thinks it can put 7.5GB on a CD.
What gives? Is there a way how to make this thing work?
Thanks

Do you have the most recent firmware for your burner? It does make a difference.
Yes I do. And after the EMC9 refused to accept the DL DVD+R and kept asking for a CD, I burned successfully the ISO image using external program. So I guess, the drive is not the culprit.

I also am experiencing the issue where Creator Classic/Disc Copy will not continue copy functions after completing the first of multiple copies. The copy status dialog box displays perpetually and the software will not continue with the next copy after a new disc is inserted.
As well, I can not dismiss the dialog box by pressing [Cancel]. The first time I press [Cancel], I receive a dialog asking me to confirm. I confirm, which dimisses the confirmation dialog box, but the status dialog box does not close. Subsequent presses of the [Cancel] button will no longer produce the confirmation dialog box, leading me to believe that the original confirmation dialog box is not actually closing correctly, so the cancel confirmation is not being seen by the staus dialog.
Please pardon the detail. I am hoping Roxio will read the above and fix this issue.
I have had no releated problems with previous versions of Roxio.

What other program? Might be a conflict between EMC9 and some other program.
No. When the excessive EMC9 yarning for a CD occurred, there was no external program. I only installed it after
I gave up on the EMC9. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you what the program was, I am quite far away from my home
machine right now. It was a GNU licensed program with a three-character name (LVP?)
