How do you reinstall the codex's, I have been having trouble playing DVD's ( the software crashes) I can play DVD's in WinMedia, and I can play downloaded video files in EMC9... but no DVD's.
I ran Microsoft Video Deocoder update and received the errors my MPEG2VidCodec.dll, all but one had red "X" by them, the one that did not was CinemasterVideo.dll version 4.1.1.0.
Any suggestions?

I'm having a similar problem. When I want to burn a production to DVD, I get the window that says I have to activate the codec for mpeg2. When I try, it hangs.

You need to be in the Activation section of the boards. Start with the topic pinned to the top.

What section of the boards do I goto if it does not work?
As for my origional post, my problems seem to be many with regard to playing DVD's.
