I successfully created my DVD using VideoWave (thanks Grandpa Bruce!), but now have several problems upon burning. I previewed the project before burning it to an .ISO file, and it worked beautifully! I then burned that to disk but find the following:
1. There are random black screens within each of the menus in place of some of the photos. (thankfully only a few).
2. I used "the pan and zoom" feature when setting up the videowave files, and they do pan and zoom in the final project but also annoyingly jiggle as well!
Can anyone offer advice on how to correct this problem?? Incidentally, I did try to test the .ISO file running Disk Copier, but only one menu shows up when I click the "preview monitor". Also, I did read the previous posts suggesting to update the video driver, but this computer is only 3 weeks old, so I would assume that the drivers should be updated properly?
Thanks for any suggestions!!

3 weeks old doesn't mean anything at all on the computer is up to date. Make sure that your firmware is up to date for your DVD burner and also your video card.

Since it looks good when your preview the .iso, it is quite likely a problem with your burner, the media you are using for burning, or your set top DVD player. You have to go through the process of elimination.

The first thing is to make sure you have updated drivers for the video card and updated firmware for your burner. Then try burning the same ISO file and see what happens.

Thanks again for your suggestions! I have updated the firmware for my burner, and checked ATI's and Dell's sites for updated drivers for the video card but cannot find any? I am going to test to see if it was an issue with the burner, but did notice that the post after mine speaks of problems previewing the .iso file, and I seem to have sort of the same issue. When I try to preview the .iso file it only allows me to view one movie, and when I attempt to get to the main menu, the preview returns to that same movie. Is this something anyone has been able to correct?

I have burned the a DVD myDVD 4 time and I am getting random black frames. My DVD recorder (sony) is up to date and so is my video card.

Also with a DVD can you make it so it plays a slideshow and burns the indivisual jpegs to the DVD so people can pull them off themselves?

Follow GPB's post regarding updates.

For slideshows with the pics included, MyDVD has this option after you click Burn.

Try this site. It is the ATI site, even though it now says AMD. If you don't have the Catalyst 6.11, drivers, follow the instructions on the linked page, and install them.

Thanks again. When I try to install this update it tells me to contact my mfg. (Dell in this case) for driver updates. Hmmm. I did see an update on Dell's site for 945GM Graphics adapters which I tried as well, and I get the message "one or more files that are required for installation are either missing or corrupt"... Incidentally, I did try burning a new .iso file and copying that to disk after updating the DVD driver, but this time there were even more black screens and photos missing!
