I recently installed Creator 8 and am trying to make a photo slideshow. When I add the photos I can put in a blank screen but am unable to type a title on the blank screen. I am also unable to get a preview of my slideshow. I have used the program on my mother's computer without encountering any problems...which is why I bought it myself. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
Deb

Deb, Unless you have the exact same computer as your mother's?  The most probably problem is your video set up.  Do you have a video card or on-board video chips.  In either case , update the drivers.  Also update your version of Microsoft's DirectX 9c to the latest  If you need help with any of the above, please post back.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I have updated the HP video drivers and downloaded the latest version of DirectX9c but I still have the problems. I tried to burn a dvd in videowave and it did not work. Any other ideas?

Really, it has been a week since your last post.  You need to answer Steve's question, which you did not.
