Today, for the fourth time, while burning some .jpg pictures from an external hard drive thru the system to the Gateway DVD Burner, after about 15 or twenty minutes, the system crashed and shut down. Of course the DVD was no good and I received an error from the Microsoft Reporting Web Site that :"error caused by a device driver". Since windows provides the driver for this burner and I have had no problems with the previous version of Roxio 7.5, this new version 9 is giving this problem. Wondering if any one is having same problem with this version. Yes I do have IE 7 and all the updates installed. Very good equipment and no problems with the burner otherwise. Writes shorter time periods (10 or so minutes) with no problem.

If it has been working fine and then suddenly just stopped, I always suspect hardware first. If there were some other changes, then software may be the cause.
Try burning some data files (enough to fill a CD) and see what results you get, just for a test.
