I updated to 7.1.2 and am still having copying issues. The latest one is that I cannot copy DVD's that I created with my own camera (these are NOT copyrighted or commercial DVD's). It goes along just fine and then about 5 minutes into it, it says that these are copyright protected and cannot copy them.

Any suggestions here?

A DVD created with a camera is not necessarily the same format as a normal authored DVD.  Try extracting the video tracks using the extract video function in the Toast Video layout.  Once you have each track copied to the hard drive (if that works) then try burning a new DVD.
