Does Toast interfere with the Burn Folder feature in OSX? When I right-click on a Burn Folder and tell it ti Burn Disk, I get an error "the disk cannot be used because it is not recognized. I can burn to that same CD using Toast.

No, Toast is made to not conflict with the built in burn engine in OS X.
