Not able to activate my Cineplayer DVD decoder 2.3.1 "this number is referring to another product"

When trying to activate the DVD-decoder whith the number I got XXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXX I got the message that "this number is referring to another product". Tried several times and finally sent a message to sonicstores. Got a new serial number (YYYYY-YYYYYYYY-YYYYY) , typed it down and got the same effect " this number....."????
Ordered a backup CD, got it today. Reinstalled... tried to activate it whith the latest number. What do you think happened..? Same thing. Have sent a new e-mail and hope for better luck.
Anyone who recognises this kind of problem?? Solutions?? :)
