Roxio is TOTALLY NON MAC FRIENDLY

I logged in on a PC with Firefox and the file shot right thru. One would think that if they are selling Mac software to mac-heads they would make sure those people can get their updates with browsers they normally use with little or no hassle.
Since MicroShaft decided to quit supporting IE on the mac at version 5 we will be hosed unless Roxio fixes the problem.
I believe they provide the BEST software anywhere for burning on the Mac and/or PC. However their Customer support and their download areas and their update routine leaves a LOT to be desired.

I'm using Firefox right now with no problems on my mac. You might try clearing out the cache from your firefox or safari. That might help.
Good Luck!

I am a firefox user here and have recieved the following errors when i try to log in.
PASSWORD_RECOVERY_GENERAL_ERROR
LOGIN_GENERAL_ERROR
I usually have to completely restart firefox and have Roxio be the first site to be able to login. It's weird as heck i know but have not been able to get it to work any other way.

I wonder which version of FF he is using and also what preference settings may have been checked ? For example blocking cookies and other security preferences.
I usually just fly with the default settings without any problems getting around in cyberland.

I am presently able to access the updates with several browsers. I concur with the recommendations to clear your cache and cookies for the Roxio web site before trying again.
If you are using Firefox, there is an extension called the User Agent Switcher which can also be found at the Firefox Add-Ons page. There are some web sites that just seem happier when they think they are dealing with a particular browser...IE 6 for Windows, for example. Telling a web page that you are IE 6 for Windows will not overcome a problem with DirectX compatability, change the way the web page is displayed or overcome just plain bad coding though.
Safari can be given the same capability to change user agent identity under the Debug Menu which can be enabled by several means, such as Safari Enhancer.
The downside of spoofing the browser's identity is that the web site does not count your "hit" as being from the correct browser and/or platform so I try to keep things identified as what they are unless I have to and then I usually send the site administrator a note so that he can look into it, or at least be made aware of the situation.
I do not know if the registration for the forums and the download site have been merged or integrated as yet. At one point in time they were separate for reasons that were never entirely clear to me.
Good Luck
