New to Roxio and I will be #@$%^ if I can figure out how to select and delete scenes or portions of a file.  Is there documentation that steps a user through the process?  All I find are statements like "it is easy..." to delete or move, or rearrange ... not for me... Help!

Hey Stephen , you have to hold up the name and not be in the dark fog. (Merv is also a Steven that's why I am the other one.)

Perhaps a short video will help you in deleting scenes. I made this with Snagit because several people have asked the same question. It is not professional quality but I think that you'll get the idea. It may take several seconds to download depending on the speed of your ISP.

First of all, use video wave to do your production. Simply add your captured video to the timeline or to the story line and then change to the timeline view. If I want to move scenes around, and they are broken into individual scenes (double ended arrowhead) , I go to the storyboard view where you can see a thumbnail of the start of each scene and simply drag the scene to where you want it. The rest rearrange automatically.

Remember you will not be doing any editing of the original file so you can play with it as you want as long as you don't overwrite the original. The program (VideoWave) only creates a road map of what to include and what not to include as well as where to include it.

What version of EMC 8 do your have? As far as I know the Suite and Deluxe version both have the Timeline option available in Videowave.
