I can individually run most apps, but the home screen continuously locks up.  Any ideas?

Have you tried a repair install?

Beerman,

Thank you for the suggestion.  That alone did not fix it, but shortly after doing the "repair install" I got to thinking....why did I still have virtual drives configured from when I had release 8 on this system?  As soon as I removed the virtual drive, I got the vb error that everyone is complaining about.  I rebooted the system, and bingo, my home screen works great!!

So, you got me on the track and I appreciate it!

Have a good day!

Tony
