I am attempting to use Disc Copier to convert a MPEG-2 video file (ripped DVD in .vob format still) to the iPod preset. I set the file size to either be 512 Meg card or 1 Gig Card and start the process. The end result is an .mp4 file that is essentially the size of the original (4Gb). I have tried with all the file size settings and it ignores it completely.

So far my experience with EMC 9 is horrible. On top of this, the tivo integration is not nearly as nice as I had hoped, it won't recongize shared drives for the media library, and the conversion time is 3-4x worse then competing free products. I stopped using Videora because the lib sync was off and I wanted an all in one application that was simple.

Any suggestions on the conversion?
