The online registration does not work for me, living in Singpore (entire island an proxyserver).
Tried to push the send e-mail button, started on saturday and still no e-mail.
Done it muliple times and verifed e-mail address.

I have now a brand new 42" LCD and a HTPC which I cant play my DVD's in *banging head against desk*

Please assist.

The earliest you would get a reply would be today since support is not open during the weekend... Also, it was Thanksgiving last week and we were closed since Thursday...

Updated Info: If you could not activate CinePlayer online but have the 35 digit activation code, you can go to http://selfserve.roxio.com/ and login to submit a ticket OR click on View additional contact options to use Live Chat support during business hours and receive immediate assistance.

Try following Ivanatrox' suggestion, above - PM him.  Either click on the PM button on the lower left of his post, or click on his member id and use the PM button threre to access the PM form there.

angry.gif I am having the same problem. I cannot complete the activation of Cineplayer. I seem to be in a loop regarding support - Technical Support directs me to Customer Service and Customer Service directs me to Technical Support!!!

Any ideas?

Well I guess I'm not the only one to get riped off.
I can't get my download to run the decoder either.

I've got a similar problem. Just bought a Gateway GT5628 quad core pc with Vista and WMP 11 but no decoder (apparently) for dvd playback-seeing how I kept getting wmp error code C00D1136 everytime I tried to play a dvd movie (games and music cd's play fine). As suggested by microsoft, I followed the link to this site for a compatible decoder plug-in. Paid my $14.99, downloaded the file, ran the install and.......nothing. Still getting the same error code. I've been phoning/emailing Gateway, Microsoft and Roxio in search of a solution but so far I'm s.o.l.

If anyone figures this out, I'd been extremely grateful.

I really should learn to read these posts before wasting money on downloads. My 2.3.1 won't launch either.

Same problem here.  Would be nice if the plug in worked.

mad.gif This is a never ending source of frustration. Support gives you canned responses which are irrelevant to the problem at hand.
All I want is a patch to get the #@$% thing to launch.
Roxann was invented for morons, and can't handle real issues. Is there anybody out there??
The cineplayer 2.3.1 DOES NOT WORK !!
Waste of time & money.
I guess i"m going to have to pay $2 minute for some real help.

Try VLC Media Player. It's a free unlimited download, one of a couple recommended by Kim Komando (the syndicated radio computer geek/godess). Here's the link: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/. I'm using it now. It's not the fanciest player but it does cover the basics. And it's FREE.
