I've been trying to come to grips with the usability of this product. Maybe I'm looking at it all wrong. Maybe someone can enlighten me.
When in 'TimeLine View' of VideoWave 9, if I click on an image in the timeline, the image before it is the one I see in the preview pane. Why can't I just click on the picture I want to deal with?
In the 'Storyline view', if I use the mouse to move an image to another location, the place I moved it from remains as an empty image. When I preview the project, I see these empty images. What's up with that?
I could go on for quite a bit on the UI of this product, but I'll start with these two for now.

If you move a picture to another location, you can click on the first photo, after the blank space, hold down the Shift key, then click on the last photo in your production. Now, drag the lot, to the blank space.
A pain in the butt, but it works.
As far as clicking on a picture in Timeline, and seeing the picture before it, I think that the cursor is actually at the end of the prior photo, so you see the prior picture.
If you hit the play button, and let the production play for a second or so, you will see the picture that you wanted. Lame, but that is the way it is.

Do you have a transition before the image that you choose? If so, then your description is right: it shows the prior image. If you remove the transition between the image of interest and the image before it, the image of interest should be the one shown in the preview pane.

The problem is, it should work without removing the transition. It did in earlier versions. EMC 9 cues it about 1 second prior to the photo of interest.

Oh, yes, I don't remember this to be an issue in 7.5.
